This will be somewhat of a mea culpa. But first, let me thank those who have read the blog and have found at least something of interest.
Earlier in the year, I looked back on the blog and realised that I had been using it to try and serve at least three masters and quite possibly failing in all of them
- As a discussion and record (of my own thoughts, predominantly) of DIP, a new bidding system that I have been working on.
- As a general discussion about bridge methods, with varying levels (from zero to complete) of relevance to DIP.
- As a means of discussing transient and/or random recent thoughts pertaining to bridge (which, arguably, is what a blog on bridge should be most like).
Due consideration led me to conclude that the best solution would be a dedicated website, where each of the above could be given an appropriate place. The problem was, though more than IT literate, web sites and development were not my forte.
I’ve now gone a large way to addressing this and hope that you will take a look at the first part of my new effort, http://www.bridgemethods.com/blog. The blog will proceed first and then I hope, over time, the underlying site http://www.bridgemethods.com will evolve around it as a record for the more static stuff, both DIP and non-DIP related.
Regards, DipBridge
